A fog hung over the beach. A grey one. Clous had desended from on high and clouded visions of all that walked the land now. When the sun arose high enough, they would disapperate. But for the moment, just when the red orb was dawning, it was difficult to see futher than 20 meters.
But wait, what's that? A figure! Yes, an equine. A short one, looking to stand about 15.3 hands high. A piebald coloration, ebony mingling with ivory. It's eyes were a chocolate brown, but not the gentle kind. More harsh and distrusting. No, she was a very beautiful mare, as most Arabians are. But once up close, you'd see how thin the legs upon her were, how brittle, how easy to crack.
And yes, besides from that, the body was handsome. But the personality was something to work it. Just being near here you felt a aura of darkness. Then, if you looked into her deep eyes, you saw a firey spirit, full of spunk. But not the good kind. She was an onery mare, avoided by most others for it. The wiley kind. She played hard to get, you'd think. No, the vixen played don't get at all.
The mare paused, her cranium high, auds perked, flicking back not and then. Then she broke her tension with a shake of her head and a harsh snort, continueing on down the beach, consumed by the fog, like a ghostly apperation. Fading away, forever from your life because you didn't stop her.

In he cantered. Strides long and grathful. With each step came a cascade of sand. Spraying the little grains in every which direction infront of his hoof. His deep reddish ords scanned through the f*g. d**n it all to hell. His eyes turned to a silverish color and in a few seconds notice the fog was lifted off of the area. He smirked and continued on his way. Orbs returning to their normal hue.
With his newly found vision he looked around once more. Able to see a lot farther then before. Who was this stag? Why he was Urie. A bit of a pregnant dog if he were to describe himself. He is a very blunt male, down to the point. Though he hates the idea of mates he will hang around with mares. He would never force a mare, or intentionally breed while they were in season. For he was one who hated foals.
He looked around and spotted that of another equine. Moving closer he saw that it was a mixed color. Short, and a mare. He snorted and came to a halt infront of a bit of sea grass. He grazed on it a bit, ignoring the taste of salt. He chewed happily before walking away from the tider and leaning all of his weight onto one hoof and pressing down. Springing up a fresh pool of water. He drank happily before lifting his mug and looking over at the mare. He didn't usually make the first move, and that is how it would stay.

Just one look over the shoulder, and the vixen saw him. Her aud pressed against her skull and eyes flashed dangerously. Lashing her tassle about her legs, a gutteral growl was emitted. It was apparently she strongly disapproved of stallions, espically the silent ones. They were, in her mind, too sneaky. Of course, the femmora was perhaps the slyest mare in the lands, so this may of made her a bit hypocritical.
Stomping a flint into the sand and kicking up a bit of dust. Wading into the water, she swished her tail-mane once more, trotting into the shallows to clense the lowers of her legs of the dirt. Plodding onward, somewhat avoiding the stud, but it was clear her optics were pivoted on him, watching him from a distance. He was white, she could see. A snowy color. How pecular. The mare, whom we now announce as Insomnia, had never seen anything brighter than a mousey brown. Only solid colors, as well. No roans, or Appaloosa, or brumby. Nothing interesting. But ah, bright pelts indeed sparked her interest.
Insomnia had always wondered if those of a shinier hue had different personalitys. After all, white stags were only told in tales that she caught but hints of, seeing as most avoided talking to her in the first place. Not that she minded. The vixen avoided talking to most others anyways, so there was a perfect balence of avoidence.

He drank from his little pool for a good while. As he finished he lifted his maw. His deep red orbs looked over at the mare but alas he still made no move. She looks like a mare that likes to stay to himself. Just as he preferred to most of the time. He snorted and averted his attention towards the ocean. Completely ignoring the mare now. His grey pelt shin ing in the sun he had brought up from behind all of the fog.

She felt eyes upon her. Now throughly annoyed he hadn't left yet, Insomnia swung around, her dark eyes flashing and her lips curling in a snarl. "Do me a favor and leave, okay? I don't need to listen to you slurping up water and chewing grass all day. I got better things to do!" It was quite random, and very rude, but the shiek had lost all respect for manners since her brothers date of death.
Now picking up the pace, her head lowered, auds pinneded, and mane ruffled, she looked quite aggitated. Some would just think her strange and go on thier way. But most, alas, would get angry and claim they had done nothing wrong and would persist in vebal brawl with the femmora, which wasn't the wisest thing to do since that would be giving her what she wanted. Few ever wanted to be her friend, for irritable personalitys are compatible with the very patient, persistent, and, bottom-line, nice guys. Insomnia had yet to meet these fabled equines.
The vixen never looked back to see if he followed, or what he would do. It was on him to pick his actions, and to pick them wisely. The impulsive and onery are downright unpredictable when one does something rash.

His auds turned towards her yelling but his eyes stayed off of her. He allowed a long pause to slip over the two before snorting and facing her. If you hva ebetter things to do, go do them. I'm not leaving. Urie said to her. He flicked his banner about behind her bfeore averting his gaze once more. For staring was for the scared and surprised. He was neither so why do it. He drank a bit more water before lifting his crown once more. He had the urge to make it rain but no, he would hold off for a bit. At least give the mare a chance to get herself together.

Insomnia whipped around, her face ablaze, but her maw now twisted into a smirk. So the stag wanted to play. Stepping slowly back towards him she growled. "Well I'm not leaving either. I got here first, buster." There was a pause, just her leering at the stud, before she spoke again, but still in her aggressive tone of voice. "The names Insomnia, and don't you forget it."
That said, she returned to her silent glowering, a firey blaze of anger seeming to emit from her body. No, the temptress had yet to hate him. Hate was reserved for those who dared strike her, or do harm physically or emotionally to her. Insomnia was now tense. His retaliation was importent. If he didn't keep his cool, then things were going to go downhill from there. No one push the mares buttons and got away without a scar.

He looked over at her and raised a brow. She was very immature, needs to work on her outer image. I never asked for your name but if you want to go giving it out to every stranger you meet, thats fine. Urie said. His lyrics still cool for he was not easily flustered by juvenile equines. He looked up to the sky, his eyes flashing to their grey. The sky clouded over and a steady downpour of rain came down from the sky. He smirked, eyes changing back, and walked a short ways away from her to graze.
