(1) Lead Stallion-- Leads the herd. The lead stallion usually deals with the other males in the herd. He leads the captains and warriors and gives the comands.
(1) Lead Mare-- The lead mare is the lead stallions mate. She looks over the herd and usually deals with the mares, but also has power of the males. She is in charge of the caretakers and foragers and gives them their orders.
(1) Betan-- See's that the orders are followed threw. If the lead stallion is busy, then the Betan can give orders.
(1) Betess-- See's that the orders are followed threw. If the lead mare is busy, then the Betess can give orders.
(1) Delta-- Herd watcher. When they Lead and Betan Stallions are busy, then the Delta can take control of the herd.
(1) Deltess-- Herd watcher. When the Lead and Betess Mares are busy, then the Deltess can take control of the herd.
(1) Captain-- Trains, guides, and commands the warriors. Must be proven a loyal, strong, brave warrior. Must be unquestionable in his position.
(8) Warriors-- Spend most of their time training. They fight when the herd is in danger. They are under the captains orders. Usually males.
(3) Caretakers-- Watch over the foals of the herd. They also watch over the sick and wounded horses. There is a lead caretaker, and two other caretakers. Must provide the sick and wounded horses food and protection until they are healed.
(4) Foragers-- They must go out to get food. Consists of a lead forager who comands and leads the other foragers. They must go out and scout for food when they can find none at their current location.
(Unlimited) Elites-- These are the trusted herd members. They make up the herd. They have the foals and just help the herd out. There is one eldest herd member that can tell the foals stories and is wise and almost all knowing.
(Unlimited) Foals-- The babies of the herd. They play and eat under the watchful eye of their mothers or the caretakers. They can live a worry free life until they are old enough to be appointed postions.
Low Ranks
(Unlimited) Herd Members-- The new members of the herd. Until they prove themselves to have a better title, they must stay in this postion.
(Unlimited) Outcast-- These horses have done something to offend the herd. They eat last, and have to stay a few yards from the main herd. They must do something impressive to regain their title.
