On a stormy night, a herd of red deer and Chinese water deer came out to graze on the mythical green grass. In the cave by the grass stood a palomino unicorn mare preparing to give birth to her foal, something in the wind excited her and few minutes later a creamy unicorn colt foal was born. She named him Tommy; she quickly licked him clean and dry to prevent the wolves finding him. Tommy quickly got to his feet and was much lighter than his mother, he had a blaze and four white socks on his legs, and his alicorn was gold and shone brightly while he stood. With his colouring he would be hunted throughout his life after his colouring was rarely found in unicorns. While the storm blew more, the deer came in the cave to seek shelter, Tommy was unsure and what these creatures were, he let out a little nicker and walked up to the creatures. A young fawn walked over to Tommy and touch noses with the foal; Tommy shook his head and ran back to his mother, the mare whinny with laugher and lye down coaxing the foal to go to sleep. In the morning the storm have blew itself out, the unicorn mare coaxed her young creamy colt out of the cave to see his new home, that morning the red deer hinds coaxed they young fawns to the new world to. Tommy walked out nervously listening to the birds singing loudly, on a warm summer day. The trees were mix with rose pink and snow-white blossom flowers; the leaves were mixture of dark and pale green like the grass. The foal was curious what these strange wood like things were, he lifted his small creamy head up towards the trees, with the grass leaves, his golden alicorn touch the leaves and he neighed in fright after he got caught and couldn’t get out. Tommy’s mother heard his neighs and quickly responded by one of her own and galloped towards his location, she saw her young foal stuck in the tree branches, she gently bit the branches to release his little alicorn from the gaps. Tommy fell on the ground softly when his mom bit the branch, tears fell from his ocean blue eyes, he trotted up his mother and nudge her side softly with his head, the mare licked the foal clean and to comfort him, she then stood still and graze on the mythical grass. Tommy lyed down on the grass until his stomach rumbled, he slowly and unsteady still getting up on his long slender creamy legs, once he got his balance he then placed his nose under his mother’s flank to suckle from her udders, the warm creamy milk flow gently down his throat and chest, once he finished he walked towards the deer fawns to play with the youngsters. Tommy’s mother also new that with their colouring Tommy wouldn’t be able to hide in the forest like the other unicorns, he has to relay on his speed, cunning, the knowledge and wisdom that his mother can pass onto him, she was please to see her son mixing with the other creatures, like a true king would do. The sun shone brightly in the forest, the deep orange sun, burned the creatures of the forest, poor Tommy and his mother suffer badly and more than the others, because they creamy coats. The skies were a light blue with green mix with it; there wasn’t a single white or black cloud in sight. The deer found a cool shade under the sleep willow tree; this tree is olive green texture leaves hanging really low, few meters from the ground. The deer bleated loudly towards the unicorns, the mare respond with a friendly nicker, she then walked towards the tree and lyed down next to the hinds and licking her palomino coat and grooming the hind next to her withers friendly. Tommy continue to play with the fawn, he leaped as high as he could, leaving no hooves on the ground, the fawn tried to copy but fell on the ground. The fawn’s mother bleated with laugher, watching her son trying to copy the colt’s moves. Tommy nuzzled the fawn to comfort him, he reared onto his little young slender legs, and neighed loudly, his little gold horn glowed, a silver white light came out of the horn and some little yellow and orange stars flew from the light and circled around the dark almond fawn. The fawn bleated with happiness and tried to capture the stars, but couldn’t he then grew tired and went by his mom’s side, he then folded his legs and placed his head on the ground, closing his eyes and slept peacefully. Tommy came down the floor and went by his mother, knowing the herd will be going soon, Tommy will miss his new friend and hope they meet up again very soon. The following morning the deer herd left for seek new pastures, the unicorns never leave they homeland, because they can get hunted, trapped and even killed. Tommy nuzzled his new friend and promised him he will never forget him and will see him again soon. Tommy stood by his mother while the herd vanished in the distance, Tommy also thought where his father was, after all the hinds meet up with the stags ready for the breeding season, and he also knew that he might not be here if he was caught, so he vowed to the forest that he rule the forest and protect and look after the creatures of the forest forever. The unicorn mare led Tommy to new pastures and the homeland of his fathers and herd.
